UPCOMING EVENTSGary Leffew Bull Riding School - March 23-25, 2012 ---------------------------------------------------------------- NEWS Updated January 24th, 2012 ---------------------------------------------------------------- What's New Around the RanchWell 2012 has started out great here at Baddog Rodeo. We were able to get our hands on a couple great new bulls from our pard Jerome Scallions. After a great showing this past weekend at the Austin Touring Pro PBR things are looking great. We also had a great week in the practice pen bucking well over 20 bull this past Sunday. Our pride and Joy Cardiac Kid will be heading to Winnie this weekend for a UBBI event. As you can see by our updates we finally have a date in place for the Gary Leffew, Rob Smets and Miles Hare bull riding and bull fighting school. So keep checking out our website for further updates and we will catch you down the road. Adios ---------------------------------------------------------------- Practice Bulls We've had too may hot checks from dead beats lately so, thanks to the actions of a few, Bad Dog Rodeo Co. will no longer accept personal checks from ANYONE for practice bulls. "No Cash, No Ride" ---------------------------------------------------------------- PUBLIC NOTICE For those of you that have been looking for the Texas Law covering the wearing of helmets & vests while bull riding, we've attached a link to the actual bill. It reads like a contract but the gist of it is "no child under 18 years of age may participate in bull riding without wearing a helmet and vest...". Just click on the link below and you can download it. According to the bill it became effective, one way or another, on Septemeber 1st of 2009. What this means is that if you are under the age of 18 you will not be allowed to ride any bull at the Johnny Boren Memorial arena without wearing a helmet and vest. If you do not own both, you may be able to borrow one and we do have a couple that we can loan. But the bottom line is, "no vest and helmet, no bull riding." It's Texas law and Bad Dog Rodeo Co. will abide by it.
